It's Easy, in 3 Simple Steps
Step 1: Add pasta to plenty of boiling salted water (1 tablespoon of salt for each litre of water).
Step 2: Boil for 11 minutes for a firm ”Al dente” texture, stirring occasionally. For a more tender pasta, cook 2-3 minutes more.
Step 3: Drain well, immediately mix it with your favourite sauce and enjoy!

Fusilli with Mozzarella Cheese
400gr Barilla Fusilli
500gr of canned tomatoes, chopped
100gr mozzarella cheese, 1cm diced
10 basil leaves, torn
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper
Preparation time: 15 min.
Serves: 4
1. Bring plenty of water to the boil in a big pot. When boiling, add salt. Drop the Barilla Fusilli into the water and stir. Cook according to the instructions on the pack.
2. In the meantime, add a little oil in a large frying pan, when hot add the chopped tomatoes and bring to a simmer until the sauce reaches the desired thickness. To save time, you can use Barilla Basilico sauce instead of the canned tomatoes.
3. Drain the pasta 'al dente' or to your liking and toss with the sauce for 1 min, then add parmesan cheese and mozzarella and remove from heat. Serve with fresh basil and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
